The wife of Kogi State Governor, Hajia Sefinat Ododo, has described Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, as a woman whose life of service, compassion and commitment to humanity continues to inspire millions of Nigerians.

The governor's wife made the remarks in a statement issued on Monday in Lokoja to felicitate the First Lady on her 66th birthday.

"You are a woman of uncommon grace, wisdom and compassion, whose interventions have renewed hope among vulnerable families and communities," she said. "You are another level of humanitarianism; your humanitarian disposition had established you as a strong voice for vulnerable Nigerians, women, children and less privileged members of the society."

Hajia Ododo added that the First Lady's approach to public service reflects a deep understanding of the responsibility that comes with leadership. "Your Excellency, your compassion is profound, your heart is large, and your commitment to improving lives is truly remarkable," she said.

She said Senator Tinubu had shown that leadership becomes most meaningful when it touches lives, restores hope and creates opportunities for vulnerable Nigerians, and commended her for complementing President Bola Tinubu's administration through initiatives that promote welfare, dignity and empowerment—particularly for women and children.

The Kogi governor's wife prayed that God would continue to strengthen Senator Tinubu, granting her sound health, greater wisdom and many more years of service, while also praying for continued peace and prosperity for the Tinubu family. She conveyed the goodwill and warm felicitations of the government and people of Kogi State.

"May this new chapter bring you greater fulfilment, abundant grace and the joy of seeing your compassion flourish in the lives of those you have touched. Happy 66th birthday, Your Excellency. May God continue to bless you richly," Hajia Ododo said.
