Sanwo-Olu to Open Lagos Central Campaign Headquarters on Monday

By Atlantic Reports
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is expected to inaugurate the PBAT-KOH Lagos Central Campaign Headquarters on Lagos Island on Monday, October 12, according to the facility’s administrator, Mr Bolaji Yusuf.
Yusuf announced the planned opening on Sunday, saying the headquarters would serve as a base for political coordination, meetings and campaign activities across Lagos Central Senatorial District.
“It offers a physical base from which campaign activities can be coordinated and relationships with party members and supporters strengthened,” he said.
Base for Party and Community Engagement
Yusuf said the facility would bring together party leaders, political stakeholders, community representatives, youth groups and women supporters.
He described it as a central point for coordinating All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters working towards shared electoral goals.
“Ultimately, its success will be measured not only by its appearance, but also by how effectively it serves its purpose as a centre for engagement,” he said.
According to Yusuf, the building was developed from an unfinished structure into a completed campaign facility. The announcement did not disclose the project’s cost, funding sources or ownership arrangements.
Political Figures Expected
Organisers listed Lagos State Deputy Governor Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, Princess Damilola Sonayon James, described in the announcement as a deputy governorship candidate, and Governance Advisory Council Chairman Prince Tajudeen Olusi among those expected to attend.
Others include Chief Abayomi Daramola, identified as Lagos Central Vice Director-General, and KOH Campaign Director-General Musiliu Obanikoro.
APC candidates contesting within the district, party officials and campaign members are also expected.
The inauguration is intended to formally open the headquarters for campaign coordination as preparations continue for the 2027 elections.
