Atlantic Reports visited the riverside launch of a new community water initiative that residents say will transform daily life in five underserved wards.
The project pairs borehole drilling with local maintenance training, putting ordinary people — not contractors alone — at the center of long-term upkeep.
“We listened to families first,” said project coordinator Ada Okoro. “Every pipe laid here answers a story we heard at someone’s door.”
